As we all get on in age there are certain things we will forget and yet, there are things we will never forget. Our time served onboard the USS Newport News CA-148 and those we shared these times with are some of the fondest memories we have, good or bad. This webpage is dedicated to those Shipmates we have lost over the years and a way to 'Keep Those Memories Alive'. As we read through the names of these Shipmates who have received orders to report the the Supreme Commander, let us not soon forget them. Speak their names aloud and render a 'Hand Salute' in their Honor.
May God rest their Souls as they sail the Eternal Seas, we are all proud to call them Shipmate.
