Note: This is but a small slice of our activities
during the absolutely fabulous Reunion 2007 in Charleston, South
Carolina, and naturally many of them are of the guys (and their
wives) that I hung out with - which were mostly the '07
committee members and their wives with whom I have worked
closely for many years. But there were over 200 shipmates
at our reunion, and I'd like to put more photos of them and
their wives or sweethearts up in this album. No one in the
Reunion Association or the Museum & Memorial Foundation is
any more "important" than any other... and I welcome
additional photos from anyone attending the event. Please
send them "full-size" and label as best you can with
the names of the folks in them.
Thanks,
Jim Peden

Nice accommodations and great food - our shipmates deserve the best!
New
Guy at the Con

At the time this photo was taken of Tom Boggs hanging out
in the lobby,
the board of directors had not yet met and thus you might say this
was his last day as a "free man".
At the board meeting on Saturday, Tom was appointed Chairman of
Reunion 2009, where he will
be bringing us all to Baton Rouge, Louisiana for another grand adventure
with our Band of Brothers.

Early
Arrival Dinner Cruise

A few of the committee members came in early on
Wednesday,
so we decided to take a dinner cruise in the Charleston Harbor.
From left to right, we have
Bob Freeman ( Museum Founding Board Member )
Norm Swanson (Museum Curator)
Mike Lanier (Museum Founding Board Member)
Al Siegel (Museum Founding Board Member)
John Noll (Museum President and Founding Board Member)
Art Hunt ( Ship's Store Manager )
Jim Peden ( Reunion Association President )
Tony Gallagher ( Chairman of Reunion Committee 2007 )

happen" with his wife, Joan, and daughter, Laura,
... both of whom also worked tirelessly during the reunion.
Thanks, Gallaghers!
