Here
is a picture of me and an old friend at the Ships party back
in 1962. I don't know who the guy on the far left is, but the guy in the center is Larry
Esker.
He came on board during the Med Cruise in 1961 and was discharged in November 1963. He was
a BMSN in the 1st Division. He is a truck driver now living just north of Houston Texas.
I am the one on the right, Jim Sollee. I was on board from Dec. 1960 till my
discharge in Jan, 1964. I also was a BMSN, but was in the 1st Division (Side
Cleaners). I was from St. Louis at that time but now reside in Tampa Florida. I
too, am a truck driver.
